On
Sunday April 6, 2008, Sprint-Nextel hosted the NASCAR
Racing Experience at Papago Park Military Reservation.
The event featured the Dale Earnhardt Jr's #88 National
Guard car, the Sprint NASCAR Racing simulator, and a
catered lunch donated by Famous Dave's BBQ of Arizona.
Soldiers and families were able to test out their racing
skills against each other while enjoying a lunch in the
sun. General Salazar accepted a donation on behalf
of the Guard of 1000 tickets from Phoenix International
